Inflatable Safety Rules
Clear, practical rules for supervising and operating Salty Air rental equipment safely from setup through pickup.
Stop use immediately when conditions are unsafe
Help all riders exit immediately if sustained winds reach 15 mph, gusts reach 20 mph, lightning or thunder develops, heavy rain begins, or the equipment loses air. Once everyone is safely out, turn off and unplug the blower when conditions require it, keep everyone away from the equipment, and call Salty Air at 385-786-0432. Do not attempt repairs or make unapproved equipment changes.
Rules every supervising adult should know
Active adult supervision
A responsible adult must actively supervise the equipment whenever it is in use. The supervisor must enforce all posted rules and keep the entrance, landing area, and surrounding setup area clear.
Safe play only
No flips, somersaults, wrestling, diving, rough play, shoes, food, drinks, gum, silly string, sharp objects, jewelry, or climbing on exterior walls, netting, or roofs.
Group riders safely
Group riders by similar age, size, and ability. Follow the manufacturer occupancy, weight, and use limits shown on the equipment or provided with your rental.
Weather and wind
Stop use at 15 mph sustained winds or 20 mph gusts, and whenever lightning, thunder, heavy rain, or other unsafe conditions develop. Salty Air may delay, cancel, or retrieve equipment when conditions are unsafe.
Power and blowers
Use the dedicated electrical source, cord distance, and circuit arrangement specified for your rented equipment. Keep blowers and connections dry. Do not disconnect a blower while riders are inside or during normal use. If air is lost, help riders exit and contact Salty Air.
Setup and anchoring
Do not move, adjust, remove, or tamper with stakes, anchors, straps, blowers, or installed equipment. Keep the required setup area and access route clear throughout the rental.
Water use
Use water only when the specific rental is booked and set up for wet use. Keep dry-only equipment dry, and follow Salty Air’s hose and water instructions for wet-use rentals.
Slides and emergency exits
Ride feet first, one rider per lane at a time, and wait until the landing area is clear. If an inflatable begins to deflate, calmly guide riders out through the entrance or marked emergency exit.
Before the first rider enters
Confirm the equipment is fully inflated, anchors and straps remain secure, the setup area is clear, power and water connections match the rental instructions, and a supervising adult is ready. If anything appears damaged, loose, wet where it should be dry, or otherwise unsafe, keep the equipment closed and contact Salty Air.
