Salty Air Party Rentals - Rental Agreement
- PARTIES
- “Salty Air Party Rentals” (the “Company”) refers to its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents. “Customer” refers to the person(s) listed on the invoice and the signer of this agreement, including their agents and employees.
- PAYMENT & RENTAL TERM
- A 50% deposit is due at booking. Deposits are refundable only as outlined in Section 6 of this agreement. The remaining balance is due at least 24 hours before delivery. The rental term begins at delivery and ends at pickup by Salty Air Party Rentals. Once equipment is delivered and accepted, no refund will be issued except as provided in Section 6.
- Payment Methods: Personal checks are not accepted. Checks are only accepted from businesses, schools, and churches. All other customers, please use an accepted alternative payment method.
- Returned Check Fee: A $75.00 fee applies to any returned check, in addition to the total balance owed.
- EQUIPMENT & SETUP REQUIREMENTS
- Customer certifies that the setup area meets all requirements outlined in this section before booking. If Salty Air Party Rentals arrives for delivery and determines that the setup area is unsafe, insufficient, or does not meet the requirements stated in this agreement — including but not limited to inadequate space, obstructions that cannot be cleared, unsafe surfaces, or lack of required power — the delivery will not proceed. In this event, the Customer will forfeit the full rental payment, including deposit and remaining balance. A re-trip fee of $150.00 will also apply. No refund or credit will be issued as Salty Air Party Rentals will have already committed staff, time, and resources to the delivery.
- Customer must ensure the following before and during the rental:
- A dedicated 115V / 20-amp electrical outlet (GFCI-protected) is available within 50 feet of each inflatable unit. Per manufacturer requirements, no more than 50 feet of cord may be used. Only extension cords supplied by Salty Air Party Rentals may be used — customer-supplied cords are not permitted.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring their electrical system can support the power requirements of all rented equipment simultaneously. Each inflatable requires a dedicated 115V / 20-amp circuit. Salty Air Party Rentals is not responsible for tripped breakers, power failures, or electrical outages caused by insufficient or overloaded electrical systems at the Customer’s location. No refund or credit will be issued for downtime caused by the Customer’s electrical failure.
- If a generator is required to power any rented equipment, the Customer must notify Salty Air Party Rentals at the time of booking. Generator use must be approved in advance by Salty Air Party Rentals to ensure proper amperage and compatibility with the equipment. Unapproved generators may not be used under any circumstances. Generator exhaust must be kept a minimum of 15 feet from any inflatable opening at all times to prevent carbon monoxide accumulation inside the unit. Any damage caused by the use of an unapproved generator is the Customer’s sole financial responsibility.
- The setup surface is flat, level, and clear of debris, rocks, bricks, glass, sticks, irrigation lines, and utility hazards. A minimum 3-foot clearance on all sides of each inflatable is required.
- The setup area is free of overhead obstructions, including power lines.
- All gates are unlocked, pets are secured, and a clear path of at least 40 inches wide exists for delivery, setup, and pickup.
- All automatic and manual sprinkler systems in the setup area are disabled for the entire duration of the rental, including overnight.
- Customer has verified with local utility companies that no underground gas, water, or electrical lines are present in the stake/anchor area before setup.
- Pet waste has been removed from the setup area before delivery. Inflatables cannot be placed over animal waste, and additional cleaning fees will apply if waste is not cleared.
- All pets must be secured indoors or in a separate area away from equipment for the entire duration of the rental, including overnight. Animal damage, including chewing, scratching, clawing, or soiling, will result in full repair or replacement fees at the Customer’s expense.
- Tables & Chairs: Customer is responsible for keeping all tables and chairs clean, undamaged, and accounted for. Tables and chairs are delivered curbside and neatly stacked. The customer is responsible for stacking them the same way at pickup. Setup and breakdown services are available for an additional fee — please inquire in advance. Missing, broken, or excessively soiled items will be charged at replacement or cleaning cost.
- Tents: All tents remain the sole property of Salty Air Party Rentals. Tents are professionally installed and anchored by Company staff. Customer must not move, relocate, adjust, remove, or tamper with any tent, stake, anchor point, or tie-down strap for any reason. Any damage resulting from unauthorized movement or tampering by the Customer or their guests will be the Customer’s sole financial responsibility at full repair or replacement cost.
- Equipment Use Restriction: All rented equipment may only be used at the delivery address listed on the invoice. Customer shall not sublet, transfer, lend, move, combine, or stack equipment in any way not explicitly approved by Salty Air Party Rentals.
- Photo Documentation: Salty Air Party Rentals reserves the right to photograph or video equipment before and after each rental as documentation of condition. These photos may also be used for marketing purposes, provided no personally identifiable information of minors is included without parental consent.
- Surface Damage: Salty Air Party Rentals is not responsible for minor lawn damage, stake holes, or marks left by sandbags resulting from normal setup and anchoring procedures. Customer acknowledges these are expected results of proper equipment installation.
- CARE OF EQUIPMENT & DAMAGE FEES
- Customer is responsible for any damage beyond ordinary wear and tear during the rental period, including but not limited to:
- Cuts, tears, or punctures to vinyl, netting, or tent material

- WEATHER & UNSAFE CONDITIONS
- Salty Air Party Rentals prioritizes the safety of all participants above all else. The Company reserves the right to cancel, delay, or refuse to set up any equipment if, in its sole judgment, conditions are unsafe. This includes but is not limited to:
- Wind gusts of 15 mph or higher — per manufacturer requirements, inflatables must not be operated in winds exceeding 15 mph. If wind gusts of 15 mph or higher are present at the time of setup, Salty Air Party Rentals will not install inflatables.
- Lightning, thunder, heavy rain, snow, or extreme temperatures
- Ground conditions, overhead hazards, or site access that the Company deems unsafe
- If unsafe conditions develop during a rental after setup, the Customer must immediately deflate all inflatables by turning off and unplugging the blower. Customer is responsible for deflating equipment any time winds reach 15 mph or higher, or when any severe weather occurs, even if the Company is not present.
- CANCELLATION POLICY
- The latest time to cancel for any reason is the day before your scheduled delivery. Cancellations made after this cutoff are non-refundable, and the full balance remains due.
- More than 5 days before the event: Customer is eligible for a full deposit refund.
- Within 5 days of the event (non-weather): Deposit is non-refundable but will be returned as a Salty Air Party Rentals booking credit valid for 1 year from the original event date.
- Rain / Weather Cancellation: Customer may reschedule at no extra cost as long as at least 24 hours’ notice is provided before the scheduled delivery.
- After the day-before cutoff: Order is non-refundable. No credit will be issued as equipment may already be loaded for delivery.
- After delivery/setup: No refund or credit will be issued for any reason once equipment has been delivered and accepted, except as provided below.
- Company Cancellation (non-weather, non-safety): Full refund will be issued with no expiration.
- Company Cancellation (weather / unsafe conditions): Customer’s choice of full refund or full booking credit valid for 1 year.
- Early Retrieval Due to Weather: If weather conditions develop after delivery that pose a risk to the equipment — including but not limited to significant rainfall, high winds, or hazardous conditions — Salty Air Party Rentals reserves the right to contact the Customer and arrange early retrieval of the equipment on the same day rather than leaving it overnight. Customer agrees to cooperate with all early retrieval requests. In the event of early retrieval due to weather or unsafe conditions, the standard cancellation policy outlined in this Section will apply. Refund or credit eligibility following early retrieval will be determined at the sole discretion of Salty Air Party Rentals based on the amount of rental time the Customer received. No cash refunds will be issued for early retrieval. Overnight use is provided as a courtesy, and early retrieval due to weather does not qualify for any refund or credit if the Customer received their full event-day use.
- Blower Motors: Blower motors are designed to remain attached to the inflatable overnight. If weather or other conditions require the blower to be removed and brought indoors, Salty Air Party Rentals will contact the Customer with instructions. Customer agrees to promptly comply with any such request.
- Booking credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
- RULES OF USE & SUPERVISION
- Customer assumes full responsibility as the operator of all rented equipment and must inform all participants of the following rules before use:
- Adult supervision is required at all times while any inflatable is in use.
- No shoes, eyeglasses, jewelry, or sharp objects inside inflatables.
- No food, drinks, chewing gum, or silly string inside inflatables. Silly string causes permanent damage and will result in a full unit replacement fee at the customer’s expense.
- No flipping, somersaults, rough play, diving, or horseplay.
- No climbing on exterior walls, netting, or the roof of inflatables.
- Riders must be grouped by similar age, size, and weight. Do not mix toddlers with older children or adults.
- No water use on dry inflatables; do not operate dry inflatables on wet surfaces unless the unit is specifically designed for water use.
- For slides: riders must go feet-first only, one rider per lane at a time. The landing area must be clear before the next rider descends.
- Manufacturer weight, age, and maximum occupancy limits (listed on the equipment specification sheet) must be observed at all times.
- Persons who are pregnant, or have back or neck conditions, heart conditions, or any physical or medical limitation should use inflatable equipment with extreme caution and at their own risk. Salty Air Party Rentals strongly recommends consulting a physician before participating.
- The use of alcoholic beverages by any person actively using inflatable equipment is strictly prohibited. Salty Air Party Rentals reserves the right to require immediate deflation if participants appear impaired.
- No fireworks, sparklers, open flames, or smoking within 20 feet of any inflatable at any time. Burn damage is not repairable and will result in full unit replacement fees at the customer’s expense.
- Rental equipment may not be connected, combined, or used simultaneously in any manner not explicitly approved by Salty Air Party Rentals.
- In the event of a power failure or sudden deflation, calmly assist all riders in exiting through the door or emergency roof exit panel. Deflation time is approximately 45 seconds — there is time to exit safely.
- OVERNIGHT POSSESSION
- All rentals include overnight possession as a courtesy. Pickup begins no earlier than 7:00 AM. Customer remains fully responsible for all equipment from the time of delivery until it is physically retrieved by Salty Air Party Rentals. During overnight possession, the Customer must:
- Deflate inflatables when not in active use.
- Ensure all equipment is in a secure location, protected from theft, weather, and unauthorized use.
- Deflate inflatables immediately if overnight wind gusts reach 15 mph or if any severe weather occurs.
- Keep all pets secured indoors or in a separate area completely away from deflated equipment overnight. Any animal damage occurring during the rental period is the Customer’s sole financial responsibility.
- Ensure deflated equipment is not covered, wrapped, or rolled up while wet. Mold or mildew resulting from improper overnight storage will be charged at full replacement cost.
- Right to Retrieve: If Customer fails to allow pickup at the scheduled time or becomes unreachable, Salty Air Party Rentals reserves the right to retrieve equipment at any time without prior notice. The customer will be charged a re-trip fee of $150.00 and any additional costs incurred.
- RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
- Customer acknowledges that the use of inflatable amusement devices, tents, tables, and chairs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, broken bones, paralysis, emotional distress, or death.
- BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, CUSTOMER, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELVES, ALL GUESTS, PARTICIPANTS, AND THEIR HEIRS OR ASSIGNS, VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISKS AND AGREES TO RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY SALTY AIR PARTY RENTALS, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF RENTED EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE COMPANY’S OWN NEGLIGENCE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
- Customer agrees to defend and indemnify Salty Air Party Rentals against any third-party claims, judgments, attorney’s fees, and costs of every kind arising from the use, possession, operation, or return of any rented equipment while in Customer’s possession.
