BEFORE DELIVERY DAY
Rental Reminders
A practical checklist to help Salty Air deliver, set up, and retrieve your equipment safely and on schedule.
Prepare your event location
Access and arrival
- Have a responsible adult available for delivery and placement approval.
- Provide gate codes, parking instructions, venue access details, and an on-site contact before delivery.
- Keep the route to the setup area safe, unobstructed, and suitable for large rental equipment.
Setup area
- Clear toys, furniture, hoses, debris, and pet waste before the crew arrives.
- Confirm the setup area and required clearance using the product and booking information.
- Do not move or reposition equipment after Salty Air completes setup.
Surface and anchoring
- Tell Salty Air the actual setup surface when booking.
- Grass setups normally use stakes; approved hard-surface or indoor setups require appropriate alternate anchoring.
- Share known sprinkler, utility, or underground-line concerns before installation.
Power and water
- Provide the appropriate dedicated electrical source within the required distance. Actual blower and circuit requirements depend on the rented equipment.
- For wet-use rentals, provide a working garden hose that reaches the setup area.
- Water is not required for dry-use rentals and may never be used on dry-only equipment.
Tables and chairs
- Tables and chairs are delivered curbside and neatly stacked.
- Stack them the same way for pickup.
- Setup and breakdown service may be available for an additional fee when arranged in advance.
Supervision and safe use
- A responsible adult must supervise inflatable use at all times.
- Group participants by similar size and age and enforce the provided safety rules.
- Keep food, drinks, gum, shoes, sharp objects, and silly string out of inflatables.
Weather, pickup, and overnight
Weather limits
Stop inflatable use when sustained winds reach 15 mph or gusts reach 20 mph. Also stop use during lightning, thunder, heavy rain, or any unsafe condition. Help all riders exit first, then follow Salty Air’s instructions for deflation and equipment care.
Eligible residential overnight
Includes free overnight for eligible residential rentals. Standard Rental remains up to 8 hours of actual event use; next-morning pickup does not make it a 24-hour rental. Keep equipment secure and follow the crew’s overnight instructions. Do not remove a blower unless Salty Air specifically instructs you to do so.
Same-day and scheduled pickup
Customer pickup is not available. A requested same-day pickup has a $50 fee when scheduling allows. Park, church, and event-location rentals requiring a scheduled delivery and retrieval window have a $75 fee and are not eligible for overnight pickup.
Sprinklers and security
Keep sprinklers off for the rental period when they could wet equipment. Secure pets away from the equipment, prevent unauthorized use, and remain responsible for rented items until Salty Air retrieves them.
Cancellation and changes
More than five days before the event: the deposit is eligible for a full refund. Within five days: the deposit is non-refundable but may be returned as a Salty Air booking credit valid for one year. Weather rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice before scheduled delivery. Once equipment is delivered and accepted, refunds and credits are governed by the Rental Agreement.
Read the complete Rental Agreement or contact Salty Air before your delivery window if plans change.
